When it comes to social housing and building shelters for homeless people, project managers and developers expect architects to design something cheap and affordable. There are some examples how economy is tuned out to Good Design.

"Public housing projects have traditionally been architecturally dull and oppressive places, like jails, meant to encourage tenants to move on as quickly as possible." - now they can be  green and gorgeous!
